It's the year 2008 #pastfuturetechnology.
When the phone had just booted up, the very first image that I got to behold is of the adorable penguins which I had already come across on Softbank's 830CA. And just like it, the animations are very much contextual.
?The penguins have forgotten the date and the time temporarily", the screen says.
Next in view you'll find an empty calendar template and below that two penguins sweeping up numbers and some letters that have ?dropped" off with a ?So please tell them about the current date and time.". I mean, absolute genius. That's how you gracefully display setup errors! Just amazing.
Unfortunately again, this phone is in Japanese only from the intel I can gather (I searched all user guides), and so going deeper into the handset's features is proving a real challenge – and I'm doing my best to memorise the Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji characters of the main options.
I do know however that the camera is a 5.1Mpx snapper of the Exilim type, the phone is waterproof and comes with 1Seg and FeliCa NFC support.
