It's the year 2011 #pastfuturetechnology.
Looking at the URBANO AFFARE, with its brushed aluminium front, it's clear that the phone is intended for business or people that need something sexy and functional. It's a high-end device. Period.
Also, our pocket buddy here isn't pretending to be innocent by any stretch of the imagination – it features a "Fake Incoming" feature which is your chance at getting out of that awkward date or boring dinner with the team. This is NOT a complaint. I've never seen something as straightforward as this mobile.
The UI is also notable with its clean and simplistic approach, and yet it follows KDDI au's usual standard and settings.
For people needing to roam, this phone is perfect. It's a Global Passport enabled handset that understands CDMA and GSM networks. Unfortunately as for most KDDI au handsets from that era, there's no UMTS / HSDPA support which is just unfortunate.
As a Sony Ericsson, the 8Mpx camera does a good job and the phone comes with the usual NFC Mobile Wallet and 1Seg configuration which is standard in Japan.
It certainly is a stunner to look at and if this could get a 2021 make-over I would definitely consider it as a secondary phone.
