With the introduction of iPhone 6, Apple in 2014 launched Apply Pay to the United States. Apple Pay and Samsung Pay would slowly roll-out across the globe to gradually turn societies to cashless, digital transactors. A decade earlier, the Fujitsu F901ICS would launch FeliCa Osaifu-Keitai with biometric support in Japan and become the de-facto payments standard. iPhone 6S would also step up thencamera to 12Mpx and end the megapixel race. iPhones have remained at this resolution since.
