Admittedly Sharp weren't the first in 2009 to release a phone with the ability to charge its battery through Solar Power - Samsung would beat them to it in their Korean home market. Nonetheless, the SH002 and SH007 (available) came with IPX5/7 water resistance and made zero compromises regarding what a Japanese feature phone should offer. The SH002 and SH007 were exclusively distributed through KDDI AU. One hour of solar charging could provide 10 minutes of 3G talk time or 2 hours of stand-by time.
