It's the year 2006 #pastfuturetechnology.
Launched in Vodafone's spring line-up, the high-end 904T would perhaps be the last of its form factor. The phone features a 3.2Mpx camera, Osaifu-Keitai (NFC mobile wallet), GPS and maps, global roaming and much more in a unique grip-style flip format that allows users to operate the handset in the folded position via external controls.
Although from the outside looking in the phone featured everything that was desirable and trendy in 2006, the handset itself is rather chunky and heavy, and no future models of this type would be produced. Toshiba would focus on lower-end folders and high-end sliders, and eventually, smartphones and tablets.
Like many models in 2006, the phone is a transitional device and comes in both the Vodafone and Softbank branding.
I personally always wanted to own this device despite its size because it was so complete in its offering and style. Check out the pics and sample photos!
